Orencia

Orencia is a brand of medication used to treat rheumatoid arthritis (RA), a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the joints. The active ingredient in Orencia is abatacept, which works by blocking the activation of T-cells, a type of immune cell that is involved in the inflammatory response that contributes to RA.
